We have a young Arthur, known as 'Wart', who wants to be a knight like his adoptive father and brother, Sir Ector and Sir Kay, and Merlin, who strives to educate the boy about the world in various ways. Why that film in particular? Well, it's because it makes the perfect foundation for something like this. Yes, that Sword in the Stone, which also happens to be Walt's last film, and also an adaptation of T. And I actually came up with something that doesn't actually need any new characters.īasically, the core of the narrative would be a reimagining of The Sword in the Stone. So I decided to ponder my own concept for fun. No offense to Nomura, but I do think he could've done more with it, and it feels like his own original plot overshadows everything else after KH1.

Disney isn't a stranger to more involved internal crossovers - Aladdin and Hercules' TV series crossed over on one occasion, and the entire House of Mouse was basically "lets put a ton of Disney characters in a single building and see what hilarity we can come up with there". I just feel there's a lot of missed potential, both in terms of the whole FF+Disney crossover thing, but just the whole Disney crossover aspect in general, and part of that is the whole "the worlds shall not mix" rule that the protagonists outright try to uphold.

Kingdom Hearts is a series I'm pretty okay with - I did buy the full "Story So Far" compilation recently and I'm planning on buying KHIII as well at some point.
